Dear design students,
Happy Earth Day everyone! In honour of honouring mother earth today I wanted to put together a list of things that anyone can do to help be a bit greener.
Moms are awesome. Since becoming one myself I can truly say it is the hardest job out there. In honour of Mother’s Day, I’d like to share a few things that I’ve learned being a working mom.
Let’s talk about goals for a second. (and completely ignore that I sadly was the first person to miss my blog week deadline, better late than never right?) Early this year us folks here at PV all got together and set out goals for ourselves both personal and corporate. One of my goals was to get better organized and improve team communication on projects.
So today faced with a bit of down time I downloaded Google Chrome to my computer here in the office (I have had Chrome on my home computer for a while now) and was very pleasantly surprised how easy it was to make the switch!
Its something that every mom has eventually has to confront. The big scary back to work reality. Oh no! I just got this whole mat leave thing down! Things are comfortable, even dare I say easy? Ok, ok lets not get carried away here.
This past weekend was a big one for both our wonderful client Rohit Group as well as Pure Vision. Rohit Group celebrated their 25th anniversary in business in grand style (see blog
Hey everyone, this year’s In the Field Exhibit is now over and we just wanted to say thanks to all of you who visited and took in all of the amazing work by local companies and artists, including Pure Vision and Peel Monkey.
Yesterday we took the afternoon to have a good old fashioned pumpkin carving party in honor of Halloween this weekend. As you can see we ended up with some super rad looking carvings including – the cheshire cat, ET, legend of Zelda Triforce, Jack Skellington, an alien cat and our very own Monkey with spooky fangs.
Wow it’s been a while since my last entry, this blogging business is hard work! A few weeks ago we were lucky enough to get a visit here in the office from a favorite dancer of ours from So You Think You Can Dance, Twitch! He was upstairs in the dance studio for a camp and stopped in with a good friend of mine to say hello. He chatted a few minutes, had a few laughs at our quote wall and took the time to snap a few pics with us. Such a nice guy! Thanks again for stopping by Twitch 🙂
