We opened our doors to our new office on Tuesday, July 4 and we are settling into our new digs and discovering our new building. Combined with KEEN Print & Sign, we now have more space for our KEEN team as well as more meeting space and group areas. Our Sherwood Park office closed in the afternoon of Thursday, June 29 and we started to pack our belongings for the big move.
KEEN Creative would like to thank you for your continued support throughout the past 14 years of our history. Your patronage, partnership, and business, along with our talented team, creative approach, and unique offering has allowed our organization to thrive and grow over this time.
Could you imagine a world without the arts, without summer festivals (we are known as the festival city), or without the community groups and organizations who support our neighbourhoods in all ways imaginable? I don’t know about you, but I certainly can’t!
It’s time for another round of Colour Roulette! We’ve got some lovely downloadable wallpapers from Jenn this month, who was assigned #76b1bb. Her cat design is pretty darn adorable.
Are you so excited for the July edition of Colour Roulette?! You should be! The hex code Nic got was #32c4e8, which is a bright, summery blue. This super fun Princess Bride themed wallpaper by Nic is perfect for any bibliophile.
It’s the most exciting time of the month! It’s time for another round of Colour Roulette! This month, Tess used hex code #2f1350 to create this very lovely design that you can download as a desktop or phone wallpaper below!
For May’s edition of Colour Roulette, Nicole designed this lovely mountain scene using the colour #294090. Colour Roulette is where a KEEN team member is assigned a random hex code and designs whatever they want using that colour. They then make the design into a handful of downloadable wallpapers so that you can update your phone or desktop background each month as they come out!
It’s time for another round of Colour Roulette! If you’re unfamiliar, Colour Roulette is where we assign a random hex code to one of our team members and they design whatever they want using only that colour! We then turn them into handy dandy wallpapers that you can save and use on your phone or computer.
We love creative challenges. We love anything that gets our creative juices flowing and helps us work on our skills. Last month we introduced Colour Roulette, which is a creative challenge we started for us to flex those brain muscles outside of our billable work. The rules are simple: You’re assigned a random hex code, and you have a month to create something (anything!) using that colour.
We’ve talked before about how much we love creative challenges. They help us practice our skills, step out of our comfort zone, and really get creative. That’s why we decided to create our very own challenge: Colour Roulette!
