Our first event in the Pure Vision Office Olympics yesterday was the Longboard Skeleton! This consisted of laying stomach down on a longboard, giving yourself a single big push using only your hands and launching yourself down the hallway, head first. EXTREME!!
Initially we thought this event would be judged by distance, but it was evident after a few test runs that everyone would make the same distance, so we changed up the rules and decided that it would be a timed event. We each made three runs, and our best time out of three became our final score. Helmets were encouraged but not required…they were more for style points!
We predicted that all of the tall people in the office with the largest wingspan would make it to the podium. Our prediction was 2/3 accurate, as somehow Matt surprised us all and snuck in there to win the bronze medal!
