What is your name/nicknames?
Jennifer, Jenn – never Jenny. It just isn’t me. My parents call me Fred, like Fred Flintstone.
How would you describe your position?
I have the best job in the world! Everyday I get to be creative and hands-on. Who else is able to be in a photoshoot, sketch logos, brainstorm new company names, and design a brochure or website in a day?
What are your academic credentials?
I went to Grant MacEwan University and majored in Design & Illustration.
What do you do in your spare time?
I do a lot of yoga, biking, and running. I have a weakness for crafty things, especially 3D paper crafts, and I bake way too much.
Who or what inspires you and why?
Jessica Hische. Hands down. Long bike rides are great for clearing my head and thinking from a fresh perspective. I’m always over analyzing everything around me and you can never go wrong with a good book or good blog.
What was your favourite sitcom growing up?
What phobias do you have?
Zuigerphobia. It sucks.
What is your dream car?
Vintage Volkswagen Beetle. Or a new Volkswagen Beetle Convertible in cream. I’ve dreamed about this car for as long as I can recall.
Where would you time travel and what would you do there?
The 60’s. I love Mad Men, the fashions and the “simpler times” my grandparents talk about. I wish I’d grown up in that era playing “Kick the Can,” eating cheap candy and listening to records of all the greats.
What is the best thing to eat for breakfast?
Breakfast for dinner is way better. Either an omelet stuffed with everything or potato pancakes with applesauce and sour cream. I’ve recently become obsessed with avocado on buttered toast too. Try it!
