What is your name/nicknames?
On paper I go by Laura, but you will often hear me referred to as LB, La La, or Lawrence the pig (thanks to my big bro).
How would you describe your position?
I would describe my position as a liaison between clients and the KEEN team to understand and deliver client goals. This is perfect for me because I love forming relationships, working with a strong team, and delivering exceptional results.
What are your academic credentials?
I have a Bachelor of Commerce with a major in international business from MacEwan University. Currently, I am also working on a diploma in marketing from McMaster University.
What do you do in your spare time?
My spare time centers a lot around family. I grew up being super close to my family and I fortunately call my siblings my best friends. Other than that you can catch me at the gym, shopping, or binge watching the newest Netflix series.
Who or what inspires you and why?
All of the people in my life—they are all incredible, genuine, and fun!
What is your favorite food?
Nutella. There is never a time when I don’t have a jar (or two) in my pantry.
What phobias do you have?
I have self-diagnosed arachnophobia. I probably have at least one nightmare a month about tarantulas. I have also been known to leave a pet store crying if I happen upon an eight legged creature.
What was your favourite sitcom growing up?
I loved, and still love, Seinfeld. While the other kids were watching The OC I was cracking up with George Costanza.
Do you play board games? Which ones?
Board games are definitely a guilty pleasure of mine. I love going to board game cafes, or forcing my friends to play with me at home. Some of my faves are Taboo, Cards Against Humanity, and Scattegories. Oh, and have you ever played Hūsker Dū? Its awesome.
What would you do if you won a million dollars?
That’s easy. I would buy some property in Italy and get my family to move with me. I would spend my days drinking espresso, snacking on prosciutto, eating tons of risotto, and indulging in a few glasses of wine. Wait, that sounds like my life already.
Also, I would donate a significant amount of time and resources to charitable associations.
