The Basics:

What is your name/nicknames?
I have a strange nickname: Meatpie with a certain group of friends. It’s a long story.

How would you describe your position?
I have the privilege of running KEEN, which basically means that I do whatever needs to get done…including the hiring, firing, managing, prospecting, directing, selling, quoting, closing, creating, idea-ing, organizing…I guess basically anything that ends in an “ing”

What are your academic credentials?
I think now it’s basically the school of hard knocks, but prior to that, Business Marketing and Photography from NAIT. Certified AutoCAD & Inventor from Imaginit Technologies, and a red ribbon in basket weaving from summer camp.

What do you do in your spare time?
Honestly, right now my life is basically work and family.

Who or what inspires you and why?
I’d have to say that I’m inspired everyday by the great people that I work with. I’m fortunate to work in an industry that I have a great passion for and with a pretty awesome group of people at KEEN!

The Random:

What is your favorite food?
I’d have to say that I’m a total burger guy. Anyone who knows me knows that 9 times out of 10, I order a burger in a restaurant, no matter where we’re at. Although, tacos are a super close second. So basically 2 meals with the same ingredients but different wrappers. Meat, Cheese, Lettuce, Tomatoes, pickles = good.

Who would play you in the movie of your life?
That’s tough. I’m calling a combo of actors. So like face of Ryan Reynolds, hair of Jason Statham, personality of Ben Stiller, and height… Danny Devito.

How many five year olds could you take in a fight?
Not that I ever would, but if I had to, I’d say 7. Are they all at once? Or are they kinda’ waiting a bit and only a few at a time like in the movies? Cause that would make a difference. If they were 2 at a time, I’d bump it up to a good 12 or so.

Do you check for monsters under your bed every night?
Not so much under the bed, but the basement. I still run like a school girl up the stairs if the lights are off.

What is your dream car?
Holy snap, this is a totally loaded question. Can there really be just one? I think that I could do a different car everyday of the week. I love the creative craftsmanship of 30’s-50’s cars, the muscle of the 60’s, the engineering of today, on-road, off-road, cruiser, dragster, there are too many options. I’m trying to check off my list slowly. I always wanted a Jeep growing up, so that’s what I’m driving now. Next, who knows?
